Selectstar, which specializes in artificial intelligence (AI) data and reliability evaluation, announced on the 26th that it has been selected as a supplier for the “2026 Data Voucher Support Project” sponsored by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Information Communication and the Korea Data Industry Promotion Agency. The company explains that this is the eighth consecutive year since 2018 that it has achieved this feat.
The data voucher support project is a project in which the government provides budget support in the form of vouchers to small and medium-sized venture companies and small and medium-sized business owners who need to collect and process data. This allows demanding companies to receive support for the entire data construction process necessary for AI development, from data planning and design to collection, preprocessing, processing, analysis, and utilization.
Selectstar provides this business-demanding enterprise with a focus on building multimodal data in basic modalities such as text, images, audio, and video, as well as complex formats such as combining images with text and including metadata with video.
We have accumulated experience in constructing high-quality data in advanced fields that require an understanding of areas such as law, government, medicine, and psychology, and based on this experience, we are able to construct high-quality data tailored to companies.
In particular, we built a pipeline to refine and structure corporate document data in line with the demand for in-house built-in giant language models (LLM) and search augmented generation (RAG), which are recent trends in corporate AI adoption.
Currently, SelectStar is in charge of the data part of the SKT consortium in the government-promoted “Independent AI Platform Model” project, proving the operational stability and quality standards required in the process of building large-scale and advanced data.
In fact, Select Star has completed a total of 184 data voucher projects to date, with two of the demand companies (health care, voice recognition) selected as best cases and three companies (robot control, autonomous driving, logistics AI solutions) selected as excellent companies.
