The Cyberté project was selected by the French 2030 Investment Program as part of the invocation of the I-Démo project.

AI for safer, more reliable, and more efficient storage
The Cyberté project aims to use artificial intelligence to transform the management, security, and energy efficiency of storage infrastructure. Research conducted by INRIA project teams allows Scality to integrate:
- AI Prediction Model Predict hardware and software failures.
- Real-time anomaly detection algorithm Quickly identify early signs of attacks, such as ransomware and data delamination, even when encrypted traffic.
- A simple AI approach and methodology Reduce your energy footprint using software-defined power meters (PowerAPI initiative).
Official collaboration for digital sovereignty
This collaboration will enable INRIA to apply its research into practical industrial issues to the latest developments in French public research on artificial intelligence.
By leveraging Scality's industrial capabilities and INRIA's scientific excellence, the two partners can overcome key technical barriers in large-scale storage, in line with the French 2030s goal of supporting strategic technologies developed in France to address the challenges of cyber resilience and sustainability.
