Michael Schumacher’s family is planning to take legal action against a German magazine that published ‘interviews’ with seven-time F1 champions generated by artificial intelligence.
The 54-year-old has not been seen in public since suffering severe brain damage in a skiing accident nearly a decade ago while on a family vacation in the French Alps.

A spokesman for the Schumacher family confirmed to Reuters they are planning to pursue the matter legally.
While skiing with his family in the French Alps in December 2013, Schumacher hit a rock on the right side of his head and cracked his helmet.
He had a blood clot in his brain and was in a coma for some time.
The sports legend has been under 24-hour care at his home in Switzerland since September 2014, with his family trying to protect his privacy.
“We live together at home. We do therapy. We make Michael better, make sure he’s comfortable and simply let him be our family, our I’m doing everything I can to make sure you can feel the bond between us,” his wife Corinna Schumacher said in a 2021 Netflix documentary.
