The event was attended by Hassam Arangari, Chairman of the Authority and Head of the General Fiscal Court. Abdullah Al Shebeiri, CEO of the Authority; and many university officials and representatives.
The program stems from a strategic partnership between the Authority and IE University, one of Europe’s leading higher education and business management institutions, and aims to prepare internal audit leaders to respond to rapid technological change and leverage AI applications in their institutions’ working environments.
The program focuses on automating repetitive tasks, enhancing risk detection, providing digital insights to support strategic decision-making, and integrating AI tools into internal audit operations.
It will also help guide institutional reform through a clear and actionable roadmap, while building a governance framework that is in line with institutional objectives and regulatory requirements, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Mr. Alangari congratulated the graduates, expressed pride in their achievements and affirmed that the program supports the agency’s efforts to advance internal audit practices and increase organizational maturity in line with strategic objectives.
