Samsung Electronics today announced the launch of its new bespoke AI washer and dryer lineup.1 Designed to meet growing consumer demand for home appliances that ease daily effort, help manage energy consumption, and seamlessly integrate into the connected home.2 A combination of enhanced AI capabilities, an intuitive Smart Screen experience, and SmartThings support3 A lineup that supports energy management, making laundry management more convenient and efficient.

Enhanced AI capabilities enable intelligent fabric care
The new Bespoke AI washer and dryer features Samsung’s latest AI-enhanced wash cycle, designed to optimize performance across a wide range of fabric types with lower loads and wash conditions.
For washing machines, AI Wash+ expands fabric recognition capabilities to include outdoor and denim fabrics in addition to previously supported fabric types.4 The system uses multiple sensors to detect weight and five fabric types, automatically dispenses the appropriate amount of water and detergent, and continuously monitors soil levels during the wash cycle. If necessary, detergent usage and cleaning time can be adjusted to achieve thorough and efficient cleaning performance.
AI Dry+ for dryers5 Analyzes cargo moisture levels and drying temperatures while detecting four different fabric types.6 Based on these insights, it automatically adjusts the performance of the inverter compressor and heat exchanger to optimize drying conditions. AI Dry+ reduces energy consumption and drying time by up to 20% by generating the right amount of heat depending on the weight and moisture content of each load.7
Simplify your daily laundry with smart screen and voice control
A new lineup that enhances everyday convenience with smart screens,8 A 7-inch LCD acts as your laundry’s intuitive control center. The display provides easy access to features and settings through touchscreen controls, as well as personalizing the user experience by remembering usage habits and suggesting cycles.9 And we will deliver timely information. After each cycle, users can access their wash report through the SmartThings app.10 It also includes insights into energy and water consumption. The lineup also includes Samsung’s upgraded Bixby11 Voice assistants allow users to more easily manage their laundry through natural voice interactions. For example, users can ask Bixby to start their preferred cycle, add a rinse, check the remaining wash time, or explain the information displayed on the screen without touching the controls. Bixby can also provide audio feedback on the information displayed on the screen, making laundry management more accessible and intuitive.
Connected experiences support smarter energy management
Through SmartThings, users have access to a variety of connectivity features designed to enhance convenience and support more efficient energy management.
While household utility costs remain a major concern for consumers, the new lineup supports AI energy mode12 SmartThings Energy helps users monitor their daily, weekly, and monthly energy consumption and also provides electricity bill estimates. When you select a compatible cycle,13 By applying AI Ecobubble™ technology, AI Energy Mode can reduce energy usage by up to 70%.14 If necessary, wash at a lower temperature and extend the cycle time.15 For dryers, AI energy mode can reduce energy usage by up to 20%.16 Through intelligent optimization of the drying process.

The new Bespoke AI Washer offers high-capacity performance in a 24-inch standard depth design and is available in capacities ranging from 10.5 kg to 13 kg depending on market availability. Dryers with matching designs are available in capacities ranging from 9kg to 13kg. The new bespoke AI washer and dryer lineup will be introduced in select markets starting July 2026, but availability will vary by region and model.
