Salesforce has released its 2025 Cyber Week numbers. Worldwide sales for the period November 25 to December 1 were $336.6 billion (€288.9 billion), an increase of 7%. AI agents played a key role, influencing 20% of all orders through personalized recommendations and customer service.

This number is based on data from over 1.5 billion shoppers. Cyber Week once again proved to be a record period for retailers, despite rising prices around the world. In the United States, sales increased 5% to $79.6 billion. Black Friday generated $79 billion worldwide and Cyber Monday generated $53 billion.

According to Salesforce, AI agents have played a decisive role in the purchasing process. Together, the companies generated $67 billion in revenue through personalized product recommendations and conversational customer service. Retailers using Agentforce 360 and private-label agents grew sales 32% faster than retailers not using the technology.

Customer service worked overtime

Beyond purchasing, AI agents also played an important role in customer service. Customer service conversations with agents increased by 55% compared to the previous week. The number of agent actions, such as updating shipping addresses and initiating returns, increased by 70%. This eased the burden on the service team and reduced operational costs.

Agentforce Commerce fulfilled 61 million orders through digital storefronts. Order management systems processed 76% more orders and Agentforce Marketing sent 56.3 billion marketing messages.

Mobile continues to dominate

Both globally and in the U.S., 70% of online orders were placed on mobile devices. Mobile wallets accounted for 27% of global orders as a payment method. Social media is becoming an important starting point for shoppers, with 15% of global digital traffic to retail sites coming from social channels. TikTok grew 55% year over year and drove 9% of global social traffic.

Average sales prices during Cyber Week rose 6% year-on-year. However, consumers were not deterred by the price increases. Orders increased 2% worldwide and 1% in the United States.
