WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to summarise unread messages in chat. The optional feature is equipped with Meta AI and is intended to quickly catch up with conversations that users have missed. Today, deployed to US English-speaking users, this feature places a “Summary” button above unread chat.
