RMLIMS gets new machine for diagnostics

LUCKNOW: A new machine with 22 observation stations that allows multiple doctors to test the same sample simultaneously was commissioned in the pathology department of Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS) on Monday. This collaboration results in more accurate diagnosis and fewer errors. The machine costs around Rs 50,000 and also has special features like multiple screens for doctors to share information and the ability to connect with other doctors online. Director of the Institute Prof. CM Singh emphasized that the high-tech microscope is the first of its kind in a public hospital in the state. “A wide range of tests will be available to diagnose diseases including cancer and blood disorders,” he added. said the institute's director Dr. Pradyuman Singh, spokespersons Dr. AP Jain and Dr. Jyotsna Agrawal, CMS Dr. AK Singh and director Dr. Nuzhat Hussain.
