Singapore-based tanker and bunker ship owners deploy artificial intelligence and surveillance systems to reduce the risk of accidents and improve operational efficiency
SingFar Group installs artificial intelligence (AI) video analysis and camera surveillance on tankers and bunker ships to prevent accidents and improve safety.
SingFar's investment in AI and cameras reflects a proactive attitude towards risk management in industries where the incident may have significant financial and environmental impacts.
IO3's V.Sight Video Analytics system is installed on a fleet of bunker ships and marine tankers.
Singfar's bunker ships have capacity ranging from 500 to 2,000 tons of marine gasoil (MGO) and 2,000 to 6,2000 tons of heavy fuel oil.
A series of new delivery including dual fuel (LNG/MGO) tankers and medium-range tankers that can be run on B100 biofuels and MGOs will quickly bolster the fleet. All of these are equipped with V.Sight AI.
“At SingFar, technology is recognized as a catalyst for change, and has pushed the industry forward while exceeding evolving regulations and operational expectations.”
“Integrating IO3's AI-powered systems will help us to enhance fleet efficiency, increase safety standards and redefine operational excellence within the bunker industry.”
V.Sight plans to support regulatory compliance and optimize fleet performance by tracking vessel functions through AI-generated analyses.
