This is a convenient use of artificial intelligence. The ring adds a description of the text generated in the alert AI. If it works well, you will need everything you need to know if something needs your attention.
Ring founder Jamie Siminoff has given us some examples of new notifications. “A person is climbing the stairs with a black dog,” and you can tell that the dog pedestrian is back. Or, “two peer into a white car in the driveway” indicates that there is a time when it calls Fuzz.
Siminoff wrote at a press conference that the explanation was “intentionally concise.” They only explain the main subject that caused the motion alert and what they are doing. The founders of the ring hinted that the AI feature was on the way back to Amazon in April. “We're just scratching the surface of what we can do with AI, and we look forward to digging further with our team,” he said.
This feature is available simply by ringing Home Premium Subscriber. That's the most expensive class in the company ($20 a month or $200 a year). Luckily, you don't need to buy new hardware to use this feature. Available with all currently available ring doorbells and cameras. Video instructions are available in English only.
Features begin to unfold today. Once it becomes available, you will find the settings to switch to in the Ring app.
