KARACHI: Syngenta Pakistan Limited, an agricultural innovation and technology company, has released an enhanced version of its mobile application 'CropWise Grower' aimed at increasing farm productivity for millions of Pakistani farmers.

Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunications Shaza Fatima Khawaja launched the app which offers various features such as instant detection of crop diseases, pest diagnosis and local weather information.

Powered by advanced artificial intelligence (AI), the app's 'Crop Doctor' feature provides a one-stop solution for farmers to efficiently identify and address crop issues. Other features include e-commerce, online ordering, and crop management information.

Minister Khawaja praised the company's efforts in bringing digital technology to farmers, in line with the government's priorities in agritech and digitalization. She emphasized the importance of technology in increasing agricultural productivity, promoting farmers' economic well-being and ensuring food security.
