A woman named Elle took to Instagram to share a video taken at a cafe where she stopped for coffee. While waiting for her order, she noticed some children’s books on the shelf and decided to show them to her followers.

“Quantum entanglement for babies”

In the clip, Elle says, “I just ordered coffee. By the time we get there, let me show you what books we have, like children’s books. This is quantum entanglement for babies. Well, we have generative AI. We also have electromagnetism. I mean, that’s okay. And rocket science. This is great. Guys, this is general relativity for babies.”

As she continued to browse the bookshelf, she found more books about science and technology. “Well, Newtonian physics, quantum physics. So what we have here is machine learning for babies. Guys, this is literally like teaching babies how to process data and how to clean data. And, look, this is a simplified version of how the model is trained. But this, I mean, this is pretty cool,” she added.

“Developing the next generation of technological geniuses”

Elle shared the video and wrote in the caption, “China is truly nurturing the next generation of tech geniuses. As I was waiting for my daily coffee, I stumbled upon my local shared space library. Only in China would you find ‘Quantum Physics for Babies’ and ‘Generative AI’ casually placed on children’s bookshelves.”

She added, “Honestly, it gives our main protagonists the energy for the next generation. As someone who spends all day in the world of technology and research, it’s everything to see complex science made into something this aesthetic and approachable. It makes you realize how fast the future is moving while you’re waiting for your latte to brew.”
