Pro-Iranian propaganda channels are disseminating disinformation claiming that the Iranian government has attacked targets inside Ukraine.

The video was widely shared online, including by commentators affiliated with the Splinter news agency, on April 30, and depicts an alleged attack on an alleged “Ukrainian intelligence hub.” The content suggests that these sites were involved in operations against Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

The footage mentions the three Ukrainian cities where the attacks are said to have taken place: Kiev, Kharkiv, and Dnipro. However, all the visuals shown in the video are generated using artificial intelligence.

During the meeting, Russia reiterated its readiness to act as a mediator in the Middle East in the wake of recent attacks on Iranian targets by the United States and Israel, which Russia has condemned. The Kremlin has also proposed transferring Iran’s enriched uranium out of the country as a means of de-escalating tensions, an idea not accepted by the United States.
