PixVerse has closed a Series C round led by CDH Investments, making the AI video generation company a unicorn with a valuation of over $1 billion.
The company says this funding is the largest funding round in the AI video generation category in Asia. Antler, EnvisionX Capital, iGlobe Partners, Lion X Ventures, UOB Venture Management and 3W Fund also participated, along with other investors.
PixVerse operates an AI video generation platform and reports over 100 million users (including 16 million monthly active users) in 175 countries. The company says users have generated more than 2.1 billion videos on the service.
Investor interest in generative video is growing as model quality improves and organizations seek faster content production. Use cases include entertainment and marketing, internal communications and training materials, and more.
According to PixVerse, corporate teams using its tools report 68% lower costs and 57% faster production compared to traditional workflows. It did not provide names of customers or audited benchmarks.
Co-founder Jaden See said the funding will support international growth and widespread commercial use.
“This round marks a new chapter for PixVerse, one defined by its scale, reach, and ambition to make AI video production a ubiquitous feature. We are now focused on deepening our business presence around the world and putting our technology into the hands of more creators and businesses around the world. We are grateful to our investors for sharing that belief.”
Singapore office
PixVerse has opened a global office in Singapore to support corporate sales, strategic partnerships and global market development, with a focus on North America and Asia.
Co-founder and CEO Changhu Wang has linked the Singapore location to a network of partners and employment. Mr Wang is also part of the Singapore Economic Development Board’s Global Founders Program, which supports experienced founders setting up companies in Singapore.
“Opening a global office in Singapore places us at the heart of an international network of partners, customers and talent and reflects our confidence in what this company can build from here,” Wang said.
Model roadmap
PixVerse positions technology development as a differentiator in a competitive field that includes large technology groups and specialized AI video companies. This refers to a core model called V5.6 and a new system branded R1.
The company announced R1 in January 2026. It is described as a real-time video generation model that generates a continuously responsive stream in response to user input.
According to PixVerse, V5.6 has been independently benchmarked by Artificial Analysis, which tracks and compares generative AI systems. As of February 28, 2026, V5.6 states that it ranks second in the world for both image-to-video and text-to-video generation on its platform.
The company says V5.6 uses a proprietary spread transformer architecture to produce 1080p video in less than a minute. It also mentions audiovisual synchronization, consistency across multiple characters, and immediate compliance.
Wang said the company’s approach prioritizes not only quality but also interaction.
“At PixVerse, we’re not just improving video quality; we’re reimagining how people interact with content. When an input changes the direction of a video within a hundredth of a second, it completely changes the creative act. AI video aimed to make creation universal. We’re building towards something bigger,” said Wang. “Everyone can build their own world.”
