Picsart, a photo editing platform with over 150 million users, has announced a partnership with Getty Images to bring responsible AI-generated imagery and stock video to its platform.
Through a custom-built model trained on licensed content from Getty Images, Picsart users will be able to generate their own images with full commercial rights.
The announcement comes after recent alarm bells were raised over copyright issues surrounding AI-generated content. Picsart's AI lab, PAIR, is building a model specifically to address these concerns, which will be accessible through the company's API service later this year.
In addition to AI-generated imagery, Picsart is integrating more than 6 million stock videos from Getty Images directly into its platform. This collection offers creators a wide range of commercially usable, high-quality video assets across a variety of categories, including marketing, social media, and travel.

This new feature is designed to make it easier for small business owners, marketers, and content creators to produce professional-looking videos.
Users can browse through various categories like backgrounds, landscapes, clothing, beauty, food, home decor, health, travel, education, etc. Interestingly, it has over 100,000 vertical videos that are perfect for social media content.
All Getty Images stock videos on Picsart are available for commercial use, providing a valuable resource to promote your business. Stock video integration is currently available for Plus members of Picsart Web and will be rolled out to all web users soon.
