Applications of AI

Orlen, a leading Polish energy company, has agreed to Google Cloud and is now adopting artificial intelligence across its business.

Orlen plans to improve operational and sales performance with Google Cloud data science solutions. This partnership will provide Orlen Group with the latest solutions for developing integrated digital tools, particularly in retail and energy, allowing them to meet customer needs more effectively. The agreement covers advanced data analytics and data science, the development of modern data platforms, and acquisition of new digital skills.

“The agreement with Google Cloud is a milestone in delivering a digital strategy,” said Robert Soszyński, COO and vice president of Orlen's management committee. “We can leverage advanced technology and data analytics to accelerate innovation, speed up time to market for new services, and strengthen our ability to respond quickly to market needs. This partnership demonstrates how technology can drive long-term growth and create value in a rapidly changing business environment.”

Orlen released its strategic roadmap in January for its 2035 strategy, highlighting digital tools and effective group-wide data management as a key driver for successful energy transitions. Olen also signed a contract with Microsoft in July, implementing the largest artificial intelligence deployment in the Central and Eastern Europe regions.
