Customers can access highly performant, flexible Gemini multimodal models via OCI-generated AI services
Oracle will work with Google Cloud on integration of various Gemini models across business applications
Austin, Texas and Sunnyvale, California – August 14, 2025 – Oracle and Google Cloud have expanded their partnership to provide customers with access to Google's most advanced AI models, starting with Gemini 2.5 through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Generated AI Services. Oracle customers can now leverage the latest Gemini models to build AI agents for a wide range of use cases, including multimodal understanding, advanced coding and software development tasks, productivity and workflow automation, research and knowledge recovery.
Oracle plans to make the entire range of Google's Gemini model available through the OCI Generated AI service through new integration with Vertex AI. In the future, Oracle will work with Google Cloud to use the Gemini model via Vertex AI as an option within the Oracle Fusion Cloud application, providing customers with a wider choice to enhance their financial, HR, supply chain, sales, service and marketing workflows. Oracle customers can start leveraging Google's Gemini model using their existing Oracle Universal credits.
“Today, large companies use Gemini to drive AI agents across a variety of use cases and industries,” said Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud. “Currently, Oracle customers can access our key models from within the Oracle environment, making it even easier to begin deploying powerful AI agents that can support developers and streamline data integration tasks.”
Google's Gemini model excels in enterprise use cases thanks to its ability to respond with the latest Google search data on accuracy, large context windows, strong encryption and data privacy policies, and key inference capabilities.
“Oracle was intentional to provide a model selection curated for businesses across open, unique models,” says Clay Magouyrk, president of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. “Gemini availability in the OCI Generic AI Service focuses on providing powerful, secure, and cost-effective AI solutions that help customers accelerate innovation and achieve business goals.”
Oracle brings cutting-edge AI technology close to Enterprise Data, prioritizing security, adaptability, and scalability. This helps customers across the industry apply the right AI technology, including generation and agent AI, to the right business scenarios, to get immediate results. Additionally, thousands of AI innovators are leveraging OCI's cost-effective, dedicated AI capabilities to run the most demanding AI workloads faster. OCI Bare Metal GPU instances can enhance applications for generated AI, natural language processing, computer vision, and recommended systems.
