Read on to learn how to get started with the Broadcast app and take advantage of these creative AI tools.
To get started, you'll need to install the free NVIDIA Broadcast app on your RTX-powered desktop or laptop. Once installed, the software will create what it calls a “virtual device” on your Windows PC, giving you the option to apply AI effects to the output of your device's microphone, speakers, or webcam.
Users can combine multiple effects, adjust AI settings (note: using more effects will consume more GPU resources), and tweak the intensity for use with top broadcasting and video conferencing apps, including Discord, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, OBS Studio, Slack, and Zoom.
Some of the most popular Nvidia Broadcast AI features include Virtual Background with the option to completely remove, blur or replace the background, video noise removal for clearer images in low light, and Auto Frame, which tracks movement in real time and automatically zooms, crops and centers objects.
On the audio side, the Noise and Acoustic Echo Removal tool uses AI to remove unwanted background noise from your microphone at the touch of a button.
