“Craman Countdown” host Liz Kraman discusses an interview with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang on “Varney & Co.”
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang told Fox Business on Thursday that he is in talks with the Trump administration about selling powerful blackwell chips to China, telling the global adoption of American technology that the US can win the AI race.
In an interview, Huang spoke with “Claman Countdown” host Liz Claman and said he was “optimistic” about the talks with President Donald Trump, but added that there is no time slot to reach the deal.
“I think the conversation will take a while, but President Trump understands that building a world with the American technology stack will help America win AI races,” says Huang. “And because he wants American technology all over the world, the whole world is built on American standards, just as the US dollar is a global standard.”
The CEO of Nvidia also spoke about how he believes AI is an industrial revolution that “enrichs our lives.”

Huang said he hopes AI will bring many positive changes to a variety of areas, including productivity, GDP growth and the ability to pursue new ideas.
“All industrial revolutions lead to changes in social behavior,” he said. “But I expect the economy to do very well for AI and automation. And we expect it to enrich our lives. Of course, the quality of life will improve over time. Some jobs will disappear. Many jobs will be invented new.

Huang added that productivity gains could ultimately lead to a four-day working week.
“You can spend more time with your family on weekends, read and travel, nothing more,” he said. “We came from the world of seven days of work, and now we have five days of work.”

Jensen was also asked how Nvidia's second quarter revenues showed that H20 chip sales in China were zero.
“We haven't seen the order yet, but we want to have it,” the CEO said. “The H20 is a really great product. Its price performance, cost-effectiveness and ability to generate AI tokens are really amazing.”

Jensen added: “We can build America, the world, and we can build software on the American technology stack.
Exports of H20 chips designed for artificial intelligence applications have been previously suspended by the Trump administration due to national security concerns.
