NRI is investigating artificial intelligence (AI), and recently, Yohei Sawai, head of securities solutions at NRI America, wants to apply cutting-edge technology to back offices and other services. FTF News Video interview.
NRI won in 2025 FTF News The Technology Innovation Award for the best cutting edge solutions for NRI I-STAR/GX Swift Business Connect provides financial services companies with a direct connection to the Swift Financial messaging environment.
“So we are currently developing the NRI Financial AI platform. Therefore, it is established that financial institutions can safely use AI, such as large language models, for sales activities, compliance and back-office support,” says Sawai. Development efforts are underway in the US and Japan, he adds, featuring strong data security and privacy features.
