Sheena Smith: have understood. Thank you Diane. We are posting her four names on the bulletin board. Nordstrom, Salesforce, Crowdstrike, C3.ai. Kicking off gainers in extended deals, that’s Nordstrom. Here the profit from the retailer is considered to be only about 9%. Despite reporting year-over-year declines in several of these key categories, the report is strong, outperforming both sales and bottom line earnings. Sales were down 11% from a year ago. Nordstrom Rack won. However, it decreased compared to the same period last year.

Digital sales were also down 17% year-over-year. But it worked better than what Street had prepared. Year-to-date losses are only about 5%. Last year, Nordstrom cut his price by 42%. We’ve talked many times about how this retailer is struggling to regain momentum and struggling with turnaround strategies to move the retailer forward. Let’s see if the gains on the extended trade stick.

Now let’s turn to Salesforce. Salesforce is another move in after-hours trading, and the company’s stock is currently down just over 3%. Income was okay. But the prospect of higher earnings disappointed Street. We’re focused on earnings here, but I’m a little concerned about how that might affect future earnings growth. Year-to-date earnings are expected to be close to 70%. As far as Salesforce’s latest performance goes, it outperformed in sales and earnings in the first quarter. However, we expect the stock to fall because of the sales outlook. Again, only about 3% off.

Another move here, Crowdstrike, is down just about 11 and 1/2%. The full-year profit forecast is at the lower end of the forecast. This is a great driving force for after-hours behavior. The company has raised its earnings forecast for the full year. Earnings in the first quarter also topped him at $692 million. However, the driver will guide you again here.

And C3.ai is a stock that is up 257% year-to-date. Losses on extended trades here are only about 13%. Looking at these numbers, we can see that the AI boom has clearly been riding the wave and trending upwards since the beginning of the year. In terms of earnings, it outperformed. It also posted a narrower loss than expected. But again, considering the year-to-date return is 257%, we could give back some of that gain. That’s why the stock is down only about 13%, Diane.

– yes. There was certainly room for redemption.
