Leverage cutting-edge technology
Nokia’s agent AI-powered solution on AWS introduces intent-based network slicing that continuously monitors network KPIs, infers real-world contextual data from multiple sources, and automatically adjusts RAN policies to meet service level agreements. The innovation in end-to-end advanced network slicing across the RAN transport core leverages the Agentic AI module, which seamlessly integrates with Nokia’s 5G AirScale base stations, MantaRay SMO, and Amazon Bedrock Artificial Intelligence platform, among others.
This integrated solution uses agent AI to coordinate data analysis, inference, and RAN policies. These AI agents leverage open internet data such as events, timetables, incidents, traffic, locations, maps, and weather for a variety of network slicing use cases. The agent AI module operates in multiple modes: chatbot, on-demand, scheduled, and autonomous. All modules interact with Amazon Bedrock through APIs. Additionally, Agentic AI-powered applications and use cases are powered by Nokia’s edge slicing solution, which delivers cloud applications and workloads directly to mobile users and devices over a high-capacity, secure, and low-latency network.
Amazon Bedrock enables intelligent network optimization by providing access to the underlying models and infrastructure to build specialized AI agents. These agents analyze historical RAN parameters along with contextual data to optimize the RAN, core, and transport layers of the mobile network. Amazon EKS hybrid nodes allow communications providers to deploy these agents and network workloads onto their existing infrastructure while unifying Kubernetes management across cloud and edge environments, providing the flexibility and scalability needed for modern network operations.
