New Jersey Economic Development Agency (NJEDA) Application for the next New Jersey program – AI is currently open. The program aims to promote statewide AI infrastructure economic growth, cooperation and development of AI infrastructure by providing tax credits to eligible companies investing in large AI data centers and businesses involved in AI-related activities.

The $500 million allocation to the program will provide tax credits to eligible businesses engaged in building and nurturing New Jersey's fast-growing AI ecosystem.

This program is open to businesses or departments engaged primarily in the AI ​​industry or in the large AI data center industry. Companies must fulfill a minimum capital investment of $100 million to qualify for tax credits, committing to creating at least 100 new eligible full-time jobs. Additionally, the program requires businesses to develop collaborative relationships with New Jersey-based public or private research universities, technology startups, incubators, accelerators, or similar entities.
