NeuRaL AI is offering a free one-hour GenAI adoption workshop for Lagos-based companies, as well as virtual sessions for companies outside Lagos who wish to participate.
NeuRaL AI provides support to organizations looking to build and deploy large-scale language models (LLMs). Their REACTOR platform is a ready-to-use, configurable data and AI computing infrastructure. NeuRaL AI's architecture gives users access to a dedicated “Metal Vault” in a virtual computing cluster data center (REACTOR), with dedicated IPs and interfaces.
According to Chidera Anyanebechi, general manager at NeuRaL AI, REACTOR simplifies the process by eliminating the need for self-hosting and complex infrastructure management. Additionally, it removes the need to operate machine learning pipelines, caches and query engines, reducing the need to manage large amounts of data and hire expensive AI engineers and operations teams.
The company plans to demonstrate to businesses that they don't need technical expertise to get the most out of Generative AI.
“AI has become the equal opportunity gamer for all businesses, regardless of size. We do all the heavy lifting for you,” Anyaneveci added.
NeuRaL's move also comes at a time when Nigeria is rolling out an AI-focused initiative, with the government recently announcing plans to build research centers in fields including AI in six geopolitical zones across the country.
The government in April 2024 unveiled plans to mobilize 120 experts to build a collaborative framework to drive AI adoption in the country and has drafted the first national AI strategy.
The National AI Strategy received $3.5 million in seed funding from potential partners, of which $1.5 million is direct funding and the remaining $2 million is follow-on funding.
Additionally, the report predicts that the country's AI market will reach $890 million in 2024 and by 2030, the market value will reach $8.75 billion.
