Oracle NetSuite announced a number of new AI connectors to help customers more easily integrate AI tools within their NetSuite environment.
The ERP giant is expanding its NetSuite AI Connector service, a protocol-driven AI integration platform that provides customers with support to connect their own AI assistants to NetSuite. Model Context Protocol (MCP).
NetSuite MCP Apps, announced at London’s regional event SuiteConnect, allows users to access their NetSuite data through the AI assistant of their choice, with a familiar user interface including filters, forms, and selectors.
The demo showed users asking Anthropic questions. Claude Capture data on all accounts that are over 30 days past due and turn this data into a comprehensive dashboard.
During the process, users can see which NetSuite tools Claude is calling and the code being generated for the dashboard.
NetSuite said MCP Apps also works with AI services such as Gemini and ChatGPT, as well as various other compliant AI assistants.
“Nothing embodies agility like the ability to connect the AI tools of your choice directly into NetSuite,” said Evan Goldberg, founder and vice president of Oracle NetSuite, in the event’s opening keynote.
“This solution enables leading AI assistants to interact directly with NetSuite environments in a secure and controlled manner. It is powered by Model Context Protocol (MCP), which creates a structural bridge between AI models and enterprise applications, allowing the same functionality to work across multiple AI assistants so you are not tied to a single model or vendor.”
of circular economy EAL Green, a nonprofit organization that repurposes companies’ excess inventory and uses its return to fund college scholarships, uses AI connectors to track inventory through multimodal input.
EAL Green employees upload images to Claude, and the products captured are identified, recorded in NetSuite, and inventory updated.
NetSuite promotes AI Connector Service Companion
Another new feature is NetSuite AI Connector Service Companion. It’s a package of instructions and context that allows users to deploy AI without rapid engineering experience, and enables connected large-scale language models (LLMs) to understand NetSuite and finance workflows.
This includes the NetSuite AI Connector Service companion skill, which equips connected AI models with NetSuite-specific instructions and context, and the Prompt Library, a collection of over 100 prompt templates for easy access to financial data.
The new MCP app allows users to access prompt libraries through a graphical interface instead of text prompts. For example, when a business user asks Claude to create a new sales order, the business user is presented with a NetSuite graphical interface directly within the Claude client.
Additionally, users can now apply preconfigured MCP rules to their connected AI assistants, including existing NetSuite security profiles and “roles” such as CFO, Accounts Receivable Analyst, and Financial Analyst.
“This companion provides a world-class AI experience to power these assistants.
“Companion enables teams to use AI more reliably and consistently across their finance operations,” Goldberg said, adding that Prompt Library is at the very heart of the service.
Another demo focused on the NetSuite AI Connector service for Analytics Warehouse showed a user asking Claude to discover trends in accounts receivable data within NetSuite. You can then ask Claude to help you generate a dashboard within Analytics Warehouse.
“So with this AI connectivity service for Analytics Warehouse, you can scale your analytics use cases to more teams and
NetSuite AI Connector Service Companion and NetSuite AI Connector Service for NetSuite Analytics Warehouse are currently available in English, but the company is targeting more languages in future releases.
