Earlier than expected Monsoon season has caused flooding in eastern Nepal, but videos have been generated that are said to show water flowing from the clouds into fields already soaked wet. Nepal weather authorities told AFP that such weather phenomenon has not been recorded in the country recently.

It appears to indicate a rapid of water that has skyrocketed from the clouds into fields already flooded from the clouds.
According to a post in Kathmandu, monsoon rains in eastern Nepal caused the death of at least one person, and it was shared as widespread flooding and disruption to transport (archive links).
Nepal meteorologists say the monsoon clouds entered the country two weeks before scheduled, and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management predicts that around 2 million people could be affected by monsoon-related disasters (archive link).
The video is also being shared among Hindi-speaking users on Facebook and Instagram.
“What a horrifying scene…it seems like it's gushing out of a dam,” he reads a comment on one of the posts.
Another comment reads, “A very scary scene… May God protect everyone.”
However, Nepali authorities told AFP that such weather events have not occurred in the country.
“As the monsoon (season) has begun in Nepal, many areas are receiving rain. However, there has been no cloudburst incident recently,” Dinkal Kayasta, information manager for the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, said on June 5th.
A reverse image search on Google using keyframes from an incorrectly shared video showed the same footage posted on YouTube shorts on May 19th (archive link).
Video's Thai caption It contains the hashtag “AI” and the user who posted the video posted other users with the same hashtag (archive link) that appears to have been generated by the AI.
Shu Hu, director of Purdue University's Machine Learning and Media Forensics Lab, also told AFP there was a visual inconsistency in the video confirming it was generated using AI (AI).Archive Links).
“The red roof was missing at the beginning of the video, but it appeared later.” He said on June 3rd..
