The Internet is bustling about the latest viral trend: nano bananas. This new trend allows users to turn their photos into small, very realistic 3D figurines using Google's AI tool Gemini 2.5 Flash Image.
These miniature collectibles, similar to toy store figures, are created by artificial intelligence within seconds.
So, what exactly is a nano banana?
Simply put, they are small digital figurines, often cartoon-like, yet extremely detailed, and produced from photographs. The community gave them the quirky name “Nano Bananas” as these cute collectibles began to appear all over social media like Instagram, Tiktok and X.
Your miniature Schnauzer has gotten even more minis. Upload the image and “turn my pet into a plastic action figure next to the package,” Nano Banana handles the rest.
