What started out as a creative fantasy story took an unintentionally surreal turn in Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij's hit limited series. Murder at the end of the world.
The writing duo, who also co-created, directed and produced the FX series, attended Deadline's Contenders TV event on Sunday to discuss the inspiration behind the mystery.

Regarding the possibility of a second season, the pair didn't go into specific details, but said, “It's possible… but we'll have to wait for a good ending.”
