VANCOUVER, British Columbia, June 4, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — MindBio Therapeutics Corp. (CSE: MBIO; Frankfurt: WF6; OTCQB: MBQIF); (“”company ” or “mind bio ”), a biotechnology company commercializing AI-driven speech analytics for drug and alcohol intoxication detection, is pleased to announce that the company has launched its flagship commercial validation and testing software, Intox AI™.

Intox AI™, MindBio’s enterprise solution for intoxication and fatigue detection, enables new analytical capabilities to detect cocaine, cannabis, alcohol, psychedelic, drug use, and human fatigue in audio. Intox AI™ changes the category of drug use and fatigue detection in high-risk industries where sobriety and alertness are essential health and safety requirements to save lives. This technology will be implemented in Edge AI kiosks, with the first prototype production expected to be completed soon. The company is targeting commercialization in industries where there is pressure to expand drug and alcohol testing and where testing is mandated by regulators, such as mining, aviation, construction, heavy transportation, and law enforcement, and where large-scale mass testing for a variety of drugs, alcohol, and human fatigue poses a major operational challenge.

Current drug and alcohol testing systems include mouth swab tests and breathalyzers. These tests are time consuming, costly per test, unhygienic and environmentally harmful due to high plastic usage and waste. MindBio’s voice AI solution aims to quickly scan for poisoning and remove these issues from traditional drug testing procedures. MindBio’s solutions aim to increase efficiency and enable testing at scale, which is not possible with current systems.

“The launch of Intox AI™ is a major advancement for drug and alcohol testing across a variety of substances that impact human performance and safety,” said Justin Hanka, CEO of the company. “We are on track to deliver our first prototype testing kiosks soon and are pleased that our core software is ready for testing and validation.”
