Like Midjourney's image generation tool, V1 is only accessible from Discord and is currently only available on the web. To access the V1, users will need to purchase Midjourney master plan for $10 a month. Meanwhile, users subscribe to the Pro Plan, which costs $60 per month and the Mega plan, which costs $120 per month, can generate unlimited videos using the platform's slow “relax” mode. Midjourney says it will check the pricing of the video model next month.V1 includes several custom settings that allow users to control the output of the video model. Users can choose an automatic animation mode that applies random movement to images, or a manual mode that allows them to describe a particular animation via text input. Settings also allow users to adjust the level of camera and subject movement by selecting either “low motion” or “high motion.”Videos generated in V1 are initially 5 seconds, but users have the option to extend up to 4 times, up to 4 seconds, with a maximum of 21 seconds duration.
