Over the past few months, Meta has been stealing staff from other large AI companies and has been talking at length about the life-changing AI plans they are working on. But their latest project known as vibes is not something we had in mind.
Vibes is a new take on apps such as Tiktok and Original Vine. This allows you to create and share videos and explore what other content creators are creating. What stands out about the vibrator is that all the videos are made with AI.
New tabs in the Meta AI app allow Vibes to create and share AI videos. Like other video sharing sites, the feeds become more personalized over time. You can also “remix” other people's videos, or build on the original idea.
How does the vibe work?

“This early edition will partner with Midjourney and Black Forest Labs while continuing to develop their own models behind the scenes while partnering with Midjourney and Black Forest Labs,” wrote Alexander Wang, Chief AI Office at Meta, in the thread.
Midjourney is known for putting more of your own personalization into images and curating AI styles that suit your own interests.
Once you've made the video, you can add new visuals, add a layer of music, or adjust the style to a specific taste.
Midjourney has faced criticism in the past for how he trained image models. Disney and Universal sued the Mid Journey for copyright in June this year, and earlier in its history, they faced legal issues from artists who accused Mid Johnny of stealing his work.
Why launch the atmosphere?
Meta struggles to match the same level of success seen by Openai, Google, or humanity in the world of AI.
In June, the company restructured its AI initiative and got in the way to focus on developing the technology, forming a division known as “Meta's Superintelligence Labs.”
At this point, the company has taken talent from some of the biggest AI companies, including Openai. It also brought Alexandr Wang, former CEO of the popular AI Company Scale, to run the AI division.
It's not immediately clear how popular vibrators are. Midjourney attempted a similar project, providing a sense of AI Creations' library and community. Meta certainly has a big swing here, going in a different direction than its biggest competitors. But will it take off? Only time can be seen.
