Meta has announced its licensing partnership with AI image and video generation service Midjourney, an important step to promoting artificial intelligence capabilities.
Midjourney utilizes generative artificial intelligence to generate images from natural language descriptions, also known as prompts. It works similarly to Openai's Dall-E and Stability AI stable diffusion model.

He emphasized the strategic importance of collaboration, saying, “This technical collaboration between our research teams is part of our efforts to collaborate with the best companies in the industry, where work and expertise complement us.”

This collaboration will help the meta lead in a highly competitive AI environment, along with key rivals such as Openai's Sora and Google's VEO.
