Seoul, South Korea, March 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — MegazoneCloud, a leading AI-native digital transformation company, today announced a strategic partnership with AVITA, a leader in Japanese AI avatars, to bring innovative physical AI solutions to market. Led by MegazoneCloud CEO Doug Yeum and AVITA CEO Hiroshi Ishiguro, the collaboration leverages advanced cloud infrastructure and robotics expertise to advance real-world applications of physical AI.
The two companies recently signed a strategic partnership agreement at MegazoneCloud’s office in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul. The signing ceremony was attended by Doug Yeum, CEO of MegazoneCloud, Shogo Nishiguchi, COO and CFO of AVITA, and other key executives from both organizations.
Through this partnership, MegazoneCloud will combine its cloud and AI capabilities with AVITA’s AI avatar technology to develop physical AI solutions integrated with autonomous robots and expand their deployment to various industries.
Unlike traditional robots that repeat pre-programmed movements, autonomous robots use AI to be able to perceive their surroundings, make decisions, and act independently. When combined with AVITA’s AI avatar technology, robots can have natural conversations with customers and autonomously perform tasks such as providing guidance and consultation. AVITA was founded in 2021 by Hiroshi Ishiguro, a world-renowned Osaka University robotics professor known for his humanoid research.
MegazoneCloud integrates AVITA’s customer engagement solution “AVACOM” and training solution “AvaTraining” with autonomous humanoids and leverages its AI-powered cloud infrastructure and global sales network to support the development and business expansion of physical AI services. AVITA will continue to lead the advancement of AI avatar technology.
AVACOM is a solution where AI-powered digital avatars provide customer guidance and consulting in physical stores and online environments, helping to significantly reduce operating costs in industries with many customer touchpoints, such as finance and retail. AvaTraining is a training solution where AI avatars act as customers, allowing employees to practice interacting with real-world customers. By utilizing AI to analyze employee reactions and quantitatively evaluate and visualize individual performance, we support systematic human resource development.
The two companies will deploy these solutions in a variety of industry environments, including unmanned cash register systems in retail stores, customer guidance in department stores, and insurance consultation training. The two countries also plan to expand cooperation in key areas such as finance and the public sector.
