LG has expanded its xboom lineup for CES 2026 by adding a bunch of new speakers with some truly smart AI.
The series adds AI features to personalize playback and lighting, as well as replaceable batteries and rugged construction for outdoor use.
Stage 501 looks like an outstanding release and could become your new best friend for parties and karaoke nights.
Many iterations of AI yield little, but here the addition of AI could actually make sense. Remove, adjust, and change pitch of vocals using an AI karaoke master trained on over 10,000 songs. This means, according to LG, that you can select “virtually any song” and remove the lyrics, making it super easy to start a karaoke party.
The speaker delivers up to 220W when plugged in and 160W on battery. Runs for up to 25 hours with 99Wh replaceable packs.
The xboom Blast, on the other hand, focuses on outdoor durability. 99Wh battery, 220W output, and 3 passive radiators for up to 35 hours of use. LG emphasizes military-grade durability and practical touches like side rope handles for easy carrying.
For those who need it for daily use, the xboom Mini will be the star. It offers approximately 10 hours of playback, IP67 protection, a cube form factor, and a magic strap for placement. LG says Sound Field Enhance keeps audio clear even in open spaces.
Finally, xboom Rock is aimed at the hardy adventurer. It meets seven military standards, supports LE Audio Auracast for multi-speaker sharing, and has increased output to 6W compared to the previous generation.
