Photo and video editing is about to get even better
As someone who regularly uses Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Cloud programs, I'm excited about an AI PC laptop like the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x. Obviously, AI is a bit of a bad word in certain creative scenarios (especially ones where the computer does all the work after being given a prompt), but like most tools, AI can bring great benefits. When properly used as a means of editing a work rather than creating it completely.
Additionally, Adobe has been offering AI tools through Adobe Teacher for decades, and many creative professionals are leveraging those tools. But with Adobe Firefly, the company's machine learning-generated AI tool, things step up to a new AI level, allowing creators to produce results faster within works they control. It will be.
In particular, Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x is perfect for working with creative programs. This is mainly thanks to its gorgeous 3K OLED display and powerful NPU-powered processor. As you can see in my OLED vs QD-OLED vs QLED vs AMOLED vs Mini LED comparison, OLED offers an amazing color gamut and accurate colors, helping creators make their work look just the way they want it. This is especially true of this OLED's DisplayHDR. True Black 600. What impresses me here is that the Yoga Slim 7x OLED screen is much brighter than average, so you'll have no trouble seeing it no matter where you're working.
NPUs, on the other hand, allow AI processes to run locally and faster than non-NPU devices. There are many ways to save time, from applying filters faster to improving the performance of your AI tools. If you tend to work on creative projects often, you should definitely consider purchasing an AI PC like the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x.
Can you tell us more about AI PC and Copilot+?
AI PCs are expected to become ubiquitous over the next few years, so it's a good idea to understand what makes them different from other computers. Definitions of what an AI PC is vary. For example, Microsoft says that for a laptop to be an AI PC it must have an NPU and a Copilot key. But in reality, in order to become an AI PC (as explained in the AI PC guide), a computer needs an NPU. See the NPU guide for more information. Basically, it's a processor that's attached to the CPU and is specifically designed to take some of the workload off the CPU and GPU, allowing those processors to work more efficiently.
For example, until recently, most intensive AI tasks were performed via the cloud on powerful remote servers rather than locally on your own computer. But if your laptop has a powerful enough NPU, you can run these AI tasks locally, making it more private and secure.
As for Copilot+, this is the term used to describe Microsoft's newly announced next-generation AI capabilities. The problem is that to take advantage of this new AI experience, your laptop must have an NPU with at least 40 TOPS. Basically, you need an AI PC to use Copilot+. Copilot+ boasts new AI features including live caption translation, recall of what you've seen before, enhanced image and text generation, advanced Windows Studio effects, and automatic super resolution. The first of his Copilot+ PCs is scheduled to ship in June of this year.
