Hainan Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (BiUH) is the first international independent university in Hainan Free Trade Port. Our approach combines theory and practice, following the well-known “work-university-industry human resource development model''.

job responsibilities
- Teach and evaluate at least three courses in the following core subjects:
- Data analysis and machine learning
- Deep learning for large-scale language models
- Programming (OOP with Python)
- deep learning
- AI basics
- Develop course materials and curriculum aligned to international standards and industry AI/ML practices
- Engage in applied research and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Collaborate with industry partners to conduct consulting projects and hands-on student training in real AI/ML development environments.
- Mentor students in AI competitions (Kaggle, AI Challenge) and research initiatives
Job qualification
- Master's degree or higher in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, statistics, or closely related field
- Strong expertise in data analysis and machine learning
- A strong foundation in mathematics for machine learning
- Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment
- Excellent communication skills in English. Chinese skills are a plus
- Industry experience preferred
- English is required (B2 or above). German preferred
