Speakers will include Dominic Perez, chief technology officer for Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions in Ashburn, Virginia, and Michael Mataloch II, executive director of national security studies at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

Perez has been with PacStar, now a division of Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions, for 15 years during which time Dominic supported the development of PacStar's rugged tactical hardware and IQ-Core software and served as a subject matter expert on computing, virtualization and virtualized network functions.

Matalok develops and executes strategies to strengthen the national security research portfolio across CMU's faculty and the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) in alignment with university-wide priorities. He works with the Vice Provost for Research and Deans to support efforts with strategic mission partners to innovate defense capabilities and deploy cutting-edge technologies.
