Reflecting the growing importance of business AI, SAP is strengthening its commitment to the principles of relevant, trustworthy and responsible AI that it pioneered. At Sapphire, SAP announced that it has adopted the 10 guiding principles of the UNESCO Recommendation on Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, which aims to ensure that AI technologies respect human rights, promote equity and contribute to sustainable development.
A partnership that pushes the boundaries of enterprise AI
Expanded relationships with AWS and Microsoft, as well as new partnerships with Google Cloud, Meta and Nvidia, will enable SAP to harness the power of cutting-edge AI technologies to innovate faster and deliver richer, more real-world outcomes.
SAP and Google Cloud are deepening their partnership to use business AI to help companies better predict and mitigate supply chain risks to minimize disruptions and maintain optimal inventory levels. The companies will integrate Joule and SAP Integrated Business Planning for Supply Chain with Google Cloud's AI assistant, Gemini models and the data foundation of the Google Cloud Cortex Framework.
SAP will also leverage Meta's powerful Llama 3 models to generate scripts that render highly customized analytical applications in SAP Analytics Cloud. Meta's next-generation AI models have an excellent understanding of language nuances and context, making them ideal for translating enterprise business requirements into tangible outcomes.
Meanwhile, SAP and Nvidia are pursuing a cross-product partnership to embed cutting-edge technology into enterprise-ready business applications.
As SAP trains Joule to act as an AI assistant for RISE’s SAP implementations, Nvidia’s cutting-edge AI models will comb through SAP consulting assets to provide relevant and accurate answers to implementation-related questions.
