The ‘G8’ has launched ‘All-In’, an island-wide coordinated program to provide businesses, employees and community organizations with practical AI skills and user confidence.
Running from October 1st to November 12th, AI Sprint will bring together industry leaders, employees, small business owners, philanthropic organizations, and the broader community for a structured program of workshops, hackathons, panel discussions, live demonstrations, weekly challenges, networking events, and more.
The sprint will culminate in an event to celebrate achievements and showcase what Guernsey has achieved.
The G8, a representative group representing a range of sectors and organizations, has now launched ‘All In’ as a direct response to the findings of the Oliver Wyman report (Driving Guernsey’s Growth) and the PwC Channel Islands CEO Survey. The research highlights that Guernsey has opportunities to build skills in the areas of AI implementation and value realization.
Sprints are designed to help more people improve their skills in an urgent, practical way.
PwC’s research is helping to define the scale of this challenge and will serve as a key collaborator for the G8. This reflects both their investment in Guernsey’s economic future and their role in facilitating this endeavour.

The G8 set sprint goals that included:
- Skill up of 1,000 islanders
- Work with over 50 organizations across all sectors of the economy
- Demonstrate over 50 real-world AI tools and use cases
- Identify hackathon ideas for further development
- Establish a durable AI community of practice to maintain momentum in November and beyond
- Generating positive local and international PR that positions Guernsey as a digitally advanced jurisdiction
