The data also show that people have not yet formed strong opinions about the negative or positive impact of AI on society. “The term AI encompasses many different types of technology, but it’s not all about generative AI chatbots, as we hear a lot these days. We need to keep an open mind to see if we can help the business.

“There will certainly be areas where AI will have a big impact, such as the consumer sector, but that doesn’t mean AI can’t help other companies become more efficient and improve their processes.”
