The Metropolitan Police Department in Las Vegas is investigating delivery to CEOs in Las Vegas, including bloody pig heads.
The Las Vegas technology CEO received the bloody head of a pig and a blackmail letter after AI-related stories about his company were aired on the popular TV news segment. Agrippa founder and CEO Blake Owens said he received the package following an interview about using AI for real estate transactions.
“This guy was probably watching the Godfather too much,” Agrippa founder Blake Owens told Klas 8 News. “Needless to say, I still take it very seriously, but don't feel really threatened. It was a message,” the CEO added.
What was included in the package?
According to a report from Klas 8 News Now, the package mailed to the Owens family home featured a severed head covered in the blood of a pig and letter.

In the photo of the letter issued by the outlet, the sender calls Owens a “Clark Kent imitation.”
“Easy Google search has come a long way these days, especially in Vegas. I saw Marcus's video. What a joke: 'AI' is not going to replace brokers. Obviously, we don't understand that real estate is not built by developers or investors,” the letter read.
“And it certainly wasn't built by Tech Guys of Lululemon. It was built by a broker. We struggled with it. The letter was simply approved with “M.” ”
The CEO of the threat package:
“I don't want to defeat this guy. They may be in a tough place in life,” Owens said. “I think this is an opportunity to show people that by making others a lower person, you won't be a better person,” he added.
