The company is also working with OpenAI to design and deploy an AI-native supply chain and fulfillment orchestration platform for its operations.

KPMG operates as a zero-client deployment within OpenAI’s own environment, helping shape what it describes as a new model for AI-first companies.
This work aims to demonstrate how organizations can move from traditional application-centric experiences to a more intuitive approach where AI becomes the primary engagement system and enterprise applications remain the system of record.
To accelerate delivery, KPMG uses a Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE) model, placing senior engineers right next to the OpenAI team to quickly transform business requirements into production-ready solutions.
KPMG’s FDE completes OpenAI FDE certification as part of its efforts to transform business needs into deployable systems.

Through this partnership, KPMG and OpenAI aim to help government agencies transition from siled legacy systems to connected case management, service delivery, and decision support capabilities.
Last month, KPMG acquired a minority stake in Incentify, a US-based AI-driven credit and incentives technology company.
