Koah raises $5 million to bring ads to AI-powered apps

According to TechCrunch, AI startup Koah has raised $5 million to launch a platform that will deploy ads directly into AI applications. Their goal is to create a new type of advertising experience built into tools such as chatbots, personal assistants and other AI services.

Unlike traditional pop-ups and banner ads, KOAH assumes a system that subtly includes suggestions for related products or services during natural conversations to AI. For example, if you seek travel advice, AI may intelligently and contextually recommend sponsored products or services.

The company's founders emphasize that user experience and content quality comes first. In other words, advertising should feel useful, not destructive. This funding will help teams develop their infrastructure and begin initial testing with advertising partners.

It is not yet clear which ventures have participated in the round, but Koah plans to roll out a pilot partnership in the coming months.

Is this the beginning of a new ad model within AI tools? Do you welcome smart and useful ads, or do you absolutely prefer AI?
