King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) has completed preparations to launch a training program focused on the latest AI technologies.
The program, called the “Arat Caustus Artificial Intelligence Training Program,” was developed in collaboration with Al-Arat Company, a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF). The program is targeted at science and engineering professionals from Saudi universities who have or are close to completing a top bachelor's degree, according to SPA.
The eight-week program is aimed at driving transformation in global industries such as electronics and advanced manufacturing. Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge of fundamental AI concepts and tools essential in this rapidly evolving field. Selection of qualified candidates will be done jointly by the university and the company through a committee.
The Alat-KAUST artificial intelligence training program also includes a training camp held at Oxford University, where participants can gain practical experience in AI projects related to computer vision and reinforcement learning. This initiative will enable participants to effectively contribute to research and apply their AI knowledge in various applications.
