After focusing the film on artificial intelligence (AI) earlier this year, Jack Neo re-utilized the technology to celebrate National Day with songs.

The 65-year-old local director uploaded a music video for his song, titled “We Are Singapore” on Instagram yesterday (August 18th). While he wrote the lyrics himself, he said the songs and vocals were done by AI. It appears that the music video was also produced in the latter.

The video features scenes from this year's National Day Parade, a historic clip from Singapore, and Aynaire images of Singaporeans and local politicians and the late Leek An Yew as Singaporeans celebrate together.

Jack wrote in the caption: “Prime Minister Lawrence Wong's speech yesterday (at the National Day Rally) reminded me once again of the importance of uniting Singaporeans.

The brightly celebrated track also features images of AI singers with creepy similarities to local celebrities such as Jack, Terence Kao, Colin Chi, Usher Su, Dawn Yeoh and Tan Miaoring.

There are scenes where many local politicians are present. Prime Minister Won, Senior Minister Lee Husien Rong, Deputy Minister Kang Kim Yong, Defense Minister Jang Chun Shin, and Health Minister Ong Ye Kang It is generated to applause at Jack's song.

In his post, Jack added that he likes to compose lyrics for songs and dedicated his songs to Singapore as a “confession.”

“Along the way, we witnessed different generations… Every generation has its own experiences and memories. So I spent a little time completing the lyrics, hoping that the shared memories it encompasses was beautiful,” he wrote.

He also shared that he “utilized technology” to perfect the melody and vocals of the song.

Jack wrote: “Songwriting has changed, and the real challenge is to decide which songs resonate with the audience as their screening: an art form, and an analysis of the market and audience.

“Starting with this year's Chinese New Year film, I have come to a deeper awareness. In this generation, people who like music don't need to worry. They can also make their dreams of composition come true.

In an interview with his film in January this year, I want to be a boss, Jack shared with the media, including Asiaone that nine soundtracks for his film were composed by AI, and in particular some footage of the final credits were created by AI.

Towards the end of the music video, the late Lee Kuan Yi appeared in Singapore to wish him a happy birthday.
