Newsmeters have found that the virus claims are false. The video is generated by AI.
I looked closely through the video and found some red flags indicating the use of AI. The text on the video sign looks cluttered and doesn't resemble the actual language. This is a common flaw in visuals generated by AI-generated models, particularly those produced by generative models that struggle to replicate easy-to-read text.
The sleeping man's posture looks unnatural, stiff and troublesome. This is another common prize for AI-controlled scenes.
Keyframes were extracted from the video and analyzed using AI detection tools such as Wasitai, Isitai, and AI. All three tools confirmed that the content was generated by AI.
Although the video is stylized like grainy CCTV footage, detection can be made more difficult, these visual cues and tool-based evaluations were strongly pointed out in AI manipulation.
