“LOSER” Trump video gets millions of views on TikTok and X
The Middle East conflict has changed the dynamics of war. As AI-generated videos and memes take over social media, tensions are rising on the new digital frontier.
Iran recently released a deepfake video of President Donald Trump set to the song “LOSER” that depicts him regretting past diplomatic and military decisions against the country.
In the clip, a digital Trump appears to bemoan his strategy, with an upbeat track highlighting a montage of his supposed failures.
The footage garnered millions of views, and viewers reacted to it, creating a wave of memes.
Even as the meme war continues, the reality is hard to grasp. At a recent Cabinet meeting, President Trump called the campaign a form of psychological warfare and claimed that Iranian negotiators were “begging” for a new deal.
He called Iran a “mad nation” that has been “militarily annihilated” by recent joint attacks. Meanwhile, Revolutionary Guards spokesman Ebrahim Zolfaghari ridiculed peace talks, saying the US president was “only negotiating with himself”.
The video is trending on the internet, highlighting a new era of “meme warfare” where AI-generated content is used to shape public opinion during traditional warfare.
