Ipsotek launches VISuite Core AI video analytics platform

AI Video & Visuals

Ipsotek, an Eviden company, has launched VISuite Core, an AI video analytics product aimed at large-scale multisite deployments in highly regulated and safety-critical areas.

The new software is targeted at environments that run many sites under common rules and oversight. Ipsotech will initially focus on gas stations, schools and educational institutions, energy and utility operators.

The company is positioning VISuite Core as a standardized product rather than a custom deployment. Ipsotek based its launch on analysis of real-world production environments across a variety of industries.

This product is within Ipsotek's existing VISuite portfolio and expands on the company's recent efforts in generative AI for video analytics.

VISuite Core uses a set of predefined sector-specific use cases. Ipsotek says this approach reduces configuration effort and reduces deployment time for large facilities. Customers run the software across their existing video infrastructure through what the company describes as a repeatable, plug-and-play deployment model suitable for distributed networks of sites and partner-driven rollouts.

The company said VISuite Core reduces the configuration layers and costs that have limited widespread adoption of analytics systems. This product applies a consistent model across multiple locations rather than individual site-specific adjustments.

Standardized use cases

Ipsotek designed VISuite Core around a carefully selected set of use cases that provide actionable alerts and operational insights. The company aligns these use cases with financial, compliance, and safety outcomes.

This software uses generative AI for automatic configuration. Ipsotech says this will speed up large-scale deployments and reduce the need for on-site engineering work at each location.

The user interface is streamlined and intuitively designed. Ipsotek says this reduces training requirements for operators and simplifies day-to-day use by security and operations staff.

This product includes dashboard and reporting functionality. These provide a view of site-wide trends, performance, and compliance metrics.

Ipsotec said the combination of pre-built workflows and automation reduces installation time and makes it easier to integrate with existing systems. The company is targeting an ecosystem of partners that deploy video analytics across a broad network of customer sites.

Focus areas

The initial release focuses on three sectors that operate under strict compliance and safety regimes. These are gas stations, schools and educational institutions, energy and utilities.

At gas stations, operators monitor for safety incidents, regulatory violations, and suspicious activity. Ipsotek said VISuite Core supports consistent monitoring policies across all locations in the network.

The company aims to provide situational awareness and secure use cases in schools and campuses. These scenarios include monitoring shared spaces and access points and reporting events that may require intervention.

Energy and utility providers operate distributed and often remote infrastructures. Ipsotek said VISuite Core addresses the monitoring needs of high-risk facilities such as substations, power plants, and storage facilities.

The company plans to expand its coverage through a modular roadmap. We plan to add new vertical applications over time as market needs change.

The role of generative AI

VISuite Core incorporates Ipsotek's work in generative AI within video analytics. The company has integrated this technology into its configuration workflow rather than a bespoke consulting project.

Ipsotek said generative AI powers VISuite Core's automatic configuration and sector templates. This approach is intended to ensure consistency of deployment across large facilities without site-by-site coordination.

Dr. Boghos Boghossian, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Ipsotek, said this announcement changes the way customers utilize AI-based analytics.

“VISuite Core represents a significant evolution in how we deliver AI video analytics. By using Generative AI to automate configuration and strengthening our legacy by focusing on the most impactful industry workflows, we will enable our customers and partners to deploy analytics at a scale that was previously unrealistic,” said Boghossian.

Ipsotek will be demonstrating VISuite Core at the Intersec UAE Security and Safe Trade Event in Dubai. The company will introduce the software as part of the broader VISuite product family and its role in Eviden's Vision AI products.
