Today we are excited to introduce you Tiktok Ai Alive, Our first creative feature to convert static photos into dynamic and immersive videos directly within a Tiktok story.
We all know that a photograph can say a thousand words, and Tiktok aims to take more of this new form of visual storytelling. With AI alive, creators can easily animate photos and tell richer and visually engaging stories for their communities. Available only within Tiktok's Story Camera, AI Alive uses intelligent editing tools that anyone can offer, regardless of their editing experience, regardless of their ability to convert into captivating short-form videos enhanced with movement, atmosphere, or creative effects.
As a Tiktok's first AI-driven image-driven image-to-video generation feature, Ai Alive gets you directly into creativity control. Imagine capturing a photo of a calm sunset and easily turning it into a cinematic clip. The sky gradually shifts its hue, clouds slowly drifting, and the surrounding sounds of waves crashing in the distance bring the scene to life. Or take a group selfie and bring it to life as a vibrant, animated memory that emphasizes the subtle gestures and expressions of friends and family. AI Alive unlocks these creative possibilities and takes everyday content to the next level.
How it works:
- To get started, tap the blue “+” at the top of your inbox or profile page to open the Story Camera.
- Please select one photo from the Story Album.
- The AI Alive icon appears in the toolbar on the right of the photo editing page.
- After creating and posting AI Alive stories, people can see the story for you and follow the feed.
We've always built with safety in mind, and the same can be said for AI innovation. This technology undergoes multiple trust and safety checks to protect the community, allowing for new forms of creative expression. To prevent the creation of content that violates the policy, modalization technology reviews AI generation prompts with uploaded photos and written on them, as well as AI Alive videos before they are displayed to creators. A final safety check is performed after the author decides to post it on the story. Like any other content, people can report videos that they think might break our rules. Additionally, AI Alive stories have AI-generated labels that provide transparency in how content is created, and embedded C2PA metadata. This is a technology that helps others identify that AI is being generated, even if it is downloaded and shared from the platform.
