AI Video & Visuals

Naoma builds conversational AI video agents that deliver personalized live B2B software product demos on demand. Pulse 2.0 spoke with Dmitry Zakharov, co-founder and CEO of Naoma, to learn more.

Founder’s background

Naoma AI has three co-founders.

1.) Dmitri Zakharov, CEO. He is a second-time founder and has exited once (his previous business had grown 3x year-over-year to approximately $2 million in annual revenue).

2.) Dima Ivanouski, CRO, former Head of SMB Sales at PandaDoc. Grew the SMB segment from zero to $50 million ARR in the US.

3.) David Klassen, CTO, Senior Engineer with over 15 years of experience in the IT field (formerly Realeyes, Deliver Hero, and also led interactive TV projects with major carriers).

Establishment of a company

How did the idea for the company come together? Zakharov said:

“Naoma comes from the first-hand reality of sales: B2B buyers increasingly want an agentless experience, but still have to wait for a sales slot.”

“Dima has made fast motion for SMBs with PandaDoc due to the demand for microtransactions, but the economics of human demos don’t always work. When companies force self-service on those prospects, conversions and purchase intent decline. We launched Naoma to instantly provide personalized demos to every prospect without the need to increase headcount.”

Main products

What are the company’s core products and features? Zakharov explained:

“Naoma is an AI video sales agent that runs personalized live demos inside your actual product account, answers questions with voice, adjusts your flow in real time, rates leads, and routes qualified leads to your sales calendar or checkout. No human agents are required. Key features include in-browser automation (Naoma can display products, websites, and presentations), support for over 30 languages, and avatar options (human-like mascot or brand mascot) Includes.

Challenges faced

Have you faced any challenges in your field of work recently? Mr. Zakharov admitted:

“The biggest operational challenge in this category is customer onboarding, which means ensuring agents are able to demo each client’s product. We’re tackling this problem by building automation around product understanding and creating demo flows (exploration + script generation).”

“On the product side, in line with our promise of near-instant access to demos, we have also been quickly thinking about the video experience and streaming reliability to keep demos ‘instant’ and high quality. ”

Customer success stories

Could you tell us about specific customer success stories? Mr. Zakharov emphasized:

“Yes, our first client, UXPressia, is a great example. UXPressia is a customer journey mapping and persona platform with a feature-rich product and a relatively small team. So we needed a way to engage and qualify website visitors without involving sales reps in early-stage conversations.

They embedded Naoma’s AI video agent directly into their site. When a visitor arrives, Naoma provides an instant, interactive video demo (actual conversation, not a chatbot) to walk them through the dashboard, journey map, persona, and AI persona builder, and answer any questions they may have. Qualify each visitor in real-time, route all leads to your CRM, and flag sales-ready leads.

Engagement numbers: Approximately 15% of visitors who saw the demo button initiated a live AI demo. Traditional demo booking forms, on the other hand, typically have a rate of 1-2% and an average conversation of about 5 minutes. Naoma conducted 529 demos, generated 34 sales-qualified leads to progress into the pipeline, and closed 3 deals on her own without any human interaction, including a prepaid one-year license. All of this was done 24/7 in over 10 languages, something a monolingual team could never have done.

And what I like most about this is that it’s not just about getting leads. Agents actually close paid deals end-to-end, and every demo is returned with a full transcript and signals that also feed marketing and product. ”

Funding/profits

Can we discuss funding and revenue metrics? Mr. Zakharov revealed:

“We can share that we have closed a $440,000 pre-seed round led by ULTRA VC, with participation from Sparkle Ventures, DMTech VC, and angels to fund product development and customer acquisition. Beyond that, we have not yet disclosed detailed revenue metrics.”

Total addressable market (TAM)

What size of total addressable market (TAM) is the company pursuing? Zakharov assessed:

“Based on market research, we are pursuing a TAM of approximately $8.4 billion in annual recurring revenue (ARR).”

Differentiation from competitors

What differentiates the company from its competitors? Zakharov asserted:

“Most demo automation tools rely on preset walkthroughs or pre-recorded videos. Naoma provides live, conversational, video-first demos the same way sales reps work. It adapts in real time within a live product environment and is built directly into the customer’s site/product (not a scheduled call).”

“Technologically, recent breakthroughs in AI voice, video technology, and browser automation have made it possible for the first time to deliver qualified live demos without human intervention.”

future company goals

What are the company’s future goals? Zakharov concluded:

“In the short term, growth traction reaching $1 million ARR, deeper product and CRM integration, and product improvements.”

“Long term, we want to redefine how B2B products are sold, and we believe we can do that.”
